“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it’s faced.”
-James Baldwin
Since being established in August of 2020 during a pandemic and worldwide black cultural revolution, Black Wellness Affair has made it its mission to start those hard conversations and share stories that help grow and build up one another instead of suffering in silence. It’s this standard of support that will set the foundation for us to grow in our community. Our experiences are similar although we
may come from different backgrounds, we share traumatic triggers from society at some point in our lives. Therefore, it is important to know that we are not alone.
Let's erase the stigma in the black community surrounding mental health so that the proper knowledge, care and guidance can be shared on a universal level. Just like any family affair, here my brothers and sisters, Black Wellness Affair looks to discuss the matters of the heart and what really means the most to us.
We believe that “No matter what your current circumstances are if you can visualize a Better World, you can Create it.”
Always Remember you are,
BRAVER than you Believe,
STRONGER than you seem,
SMARTER than you Think, &
LOVED more than you Know.

HEAR FROM OUR EVENT GOERS
Black Wellness Affair is about building relationships, networking, educating and sharing stories with our brothers and sisters. It’s a space where they feel safe, seen, heard, and connected to a purpose. It’s about making sure that they gain knowledge and receive something of value to their lives and community every time they work with us or attend an event.
We’ve included some of their feedback below to give a snapshot of what it’s like to work with us and be apart of the BWA family.
